Update (May 11, 2021)
Both Webinars are now available on Youtube:
The Canadian Council of Church’s Faith and Life Sciences Reference Group will be hosting a two-part webinar series on March 31 and April 28. This series brings Christian bioethics to bear on CRISPR-Cas9, a revolutionary technology that enables geneticists to alter parts of the genome by removing, adding, or altering sections of the DNA sequence. This event will be held in English only and is intended for both experts and non-experts who wish to reflect ethically and theologically about the potential risks and benefits of gene editing.
We invite you to register for both of the two webinars in this series using this Eventbrite page. We encourage you to register even if you may not be able to attend in real time so that you can receive news and updates of video content after the event.
Please help get the word out about this event. Attached are the full poster and smaller social graphics that you may use however you wish.
