Dr. Moira McQueen has been invited by the Governor General of Canada, His Excellency The Right Honourable David Johnston, C.C., C.M.M., C.O.M., C.D., to join him and Mrs. Sharon Johnston as part of the delegation representing Canada at the Mass celebrating the inauguration of the ministry of the newly elected Supreme Pontiff of the Catholic Church, His Holiness Pope Francis. The ceremony will take place at St. Peter’s Square on Tuesday, 19 March 2013 at 9.30 am.

On behalf of the Faculty of Theology, may I say how very proud we all are that Dr. McQueen has been given this honour of being part of this delegation at this historic and international event. We wish them safe travels and an enjoyable and memorable stay in the Eternal City.
